When will I receive my Express Home Delivery Order?
Place your order before 9am on a weekday to receive it the same day. All Express Home Delivery orders placed over the weekend will be delivered next business day.
How much is Express Home Delivery?
Our Express Home Delivery service is available for $14.95 on orders over $49.
How do I qualify for Express Home Delivery?
1. Your delivery address must fall within our delivery range. Check if your location is within our delivery range here.
2. Your order must be over $49 to qualify for our Express Home Delivery service.
3. Your order mustn't include ''in-store only'' items '- typically larger items not available for shipping (e.g. Fish Tanks & Reptile Enclosures).
How do I select Home Delivery Service for my items?
At the checkout, after you enter your shipping address you will be prompted for a delivery option. Here, choose 'Pet City Home Delivery Service'. Can't see it as an option? Check that your order meets the requirements to qualify for this service or contact us on 07 3349 2086.
Who will be delivering my order?
More often than not, one of our trusted team members will personally deliver your items directly to your door! During busy periods, we may also use a third party courier service to ensure the swift delivery of your order.
Where will you leave my delivery?
All Express Home Delivery orders have an authority to leave. If you're not home, our team member or courier service will leave your delivery in a safe space. If your order includes a bulky item, we may contact you with an estimate of time for delivery to ensure you are home.

The Express Home Delivery service is not available on public holidays.
Occasionaly our stock levels may be out (for example if a customer has bought the last item in store before we can pick your item). If an item is missing from your order, we will notify you right away via SMS. You may choose to exchange the item for a similar alternative if one is available. If not, we can refund you for the product, provide a credit or place the item on backorder where it will arrive at a later date. Backordered items may be delivered either by our team member or courier service at a later date.
Refunds are processed Monday to Friday using the same transaction method you paid with.
All parcels using our Express Home Delivery service are 'Authority To Leave'. Our delivery driver or courier service will leave your order in a safe place if you are not home.
Even the friendliest pets can be unsure of strangers entering their home. Unfortunately we have encountered incidents in the past and for the safety of our staff, they will not enter a property when there is an off-leash dog.
If there is no safe place we can identify to leave your delivery, we may give you a call OR may reschedule delivery and an additional delivery fee may be charged.
Frozen & live goods will be packaged appropriately, but we recommend that you are available to unpack perishable goods sooner rather than later.
