Country Heritage Feeds Backyard Layer Pellets are a blend of certified organic grains which are finely milled and then pressed into a pellet, offering a consistent nutritionally balanced diet ideal for backyard laying chickens. Typical ingredients may include certified organic cereals such as wheat, sorghum, barley, pearl millet and corn. This feed also contains certified organic vegetable protein meals such as soybean meal, safflower meal, sunflower meal, fishmeal, meat meal and other essential vitamins and minerals.

Formulated with the same high specifications as the Country Heritage Feeds Organic Backyard Layer Mash, this pellet ration provides the birds with all the essential vitamins and minerals necessary  to maintain good health and to promote consistent strong shelled, vibrant yoked eggs.

Directions

Formulated for laying birds (from approx. 18 - 20 weeks). It is advisable to blend the layer feed with the Chicken Starter Grower from 16 weeks of age to assist with the transition into the layer feed.
