How to get a 30% off tank/ enclosure 

1. Come in-store from 11am - 4pm on the 26^th of December
2. Head to the aquarium counter for aquariums or the reptile counter for reptile enclosures and collect 1 of only 10 golden tickets available (5 for Aquariums and 5 for Reptile Enclosures).
3. Your ticket guarantees you 30% off an aquarium or reptile enclosure on the day as long as you meet the other T&Cs of the sale.
4. Let our team know what tank or enclosure you’re interested in and we will begin moving it to the front counter area.
5. Spend a minimum of $100 on anything else in store.
6. Once you’ve finished shopping, bring everything to the front counter (our team can help with heavy items). Hand your golden ticket to the front counter to receive your 30% off discount.

Which Tanks & Enclosures Are Included in the 30% Off Sale?

Any aquarium (Excluding cade or Red Sea) or reptile enclosure in stock at the time of purchase is available in the 30% off sale. Please note, some tanks/ reptile enclosures may not be on display. We recommend using our online store stock levels as a guide for availability. Please use online stock quantities as a guide only as stock levels may vary slightly in store. 

I missed out on a 30% off tank or reptile enclosure, what now?

We still have all aquariums and reptile enclosures discounted at 15% off until the end of the month.

I want to take my time shopping. Does that mean I have less of a chance of getting a 30% off tank or reptile enclosure?

Not at all! The only time demanding part of the sale is getting your hands on a golden ticket. The golden ticket guarantees you a 30% off tank or reptile enclosure as long as you meet the other T&Cs of the sale. Once you have your ticket, you can spend as long as you like shopping. Please note, the Golden Ticket can only be redeemed on the 26th of December 2024.

Can I call to reserve a tank or reptile enclosure?

Due to the popularity of this sale, unfortunately we cannot hold/ reserve any products. The best way to get a 30% off tank or reptile enclosure is to turn up as our doors open for the day. If you turn up and miss out on the 30% off sale, we still have 15% off all aquariums and reptile enclosures until the 1/1/25.

 

30% Off Sale Terms & Conditions

Who can participate:

In store customers can participate in the 30% off sale.

Limitations:

Participants can receive a maximum of one tank or enclosure plus one matching cabinet for 30% off. Only one golden ticket is allowed per group.

How to participate:

This is an in-store sale only available from 11am-4pm on 26/12/24. To enter, participants must collect a ‘golden ticket’ from the aquarium counter for an aquarium or the reptile counter for a reptile enclosure. This ticket guarantees the holder a 30% off tank or reptile enclosure as long as they meet the other T&Cs of the sale.

Participants must then spend $100 on anything else in store (dry goods or live stock). This is $100 in addition to the cost of your 30% off tank, reptile enclosure and/or cabinet.

Sale Date:

The 30% off sale is available for one day only - 26^th December 11am-4pm. All Golden Tickets must be redeemed on this day and are invalid any time after. All other boxing week sales will end 1/1/25.

Payment:

30% off tanks and reptile enclosures must be paid for in full on the day of the sale. Buy now pay later payment options are available as well.

The 30% off discount applies to the marked retail price of the tank (not club prices and not in addition to the 15% off sale).

Transportation:

As an in-store sale, customers are responsible for organising transportation (and heavy lifting) for all tanks and enclosures. Due to workplace health and safety regulations, Pet City staff may not be able to assist with heavy lifting once tanks/ enclosures leave the store.

If needed, customers can return to pick up their tank or enclosure on another day as long as it has been paid for in full. If customers choose to return to pick up a tank or enclosure, this must be pre-organised with Pet City. This is so we can ensure we have the resources to have the product ready for pickup (e.g. it may need to be forklifted downstairs).

What is included in the 30% Off sale?

Any aquarium (excluding Cade or Red Sea) or reptile enclosure in stock at the time of purchase is available in the 30% off sale. Cabinets are included in the 30% off sale.E.g. Golden ticket holders are entitled to 1x aquarium + 1x cabinert OR 1x reptile enclosure + 1x cabinet at 30% Off RRP. 

Availability

Only stock available in store at the time of purchase is included in the 30% off sale.

If another golden ticket holder has already snapped up an tank, participants can choose from any of the remaining tanks or reptile enclosures.

Online quantities are to be used as a guide only as they may not accurately reflect current stock levels in store.

Pet City employees are entitled to refuse sale to any patrons who are acting inappropriately.
