How to get 50% off

1. Come in-store on one of the 3 days from the 26^th – 28^th of December
2. Head to the Aquarium counter (turn right at the first big dog freezer & you'll see the counter) and collect 1 of only 5 Golden Tickets available for the day.
3. Your ticket guarantees you a 50% off tank as long as you meet the other T&Cs of the sale.
4. Let our team know what tank you’re interested in and we will begin moving it to the front counter area (see a list of included tanks below).
5. Spend a minimum of $100 on anything else in store.
6. Once you’ve finished shopping, bring everything to the front counter (our team can help with heavy items). Hand your golden ticket to the front counter to receive your 50% off discount.

Which Tanks Are Included in the 50% Off Sale?

Participants will have their choice of tank within the specified range of products for the day. Below are the product ranges included in the 50% off sale for each day. Please note, only stock available in store at the time of purchase is included in the 50% off sale. Use online stock quantities as a guide only as stock levels may vary slightly in store. Shop the included tanks below.

I missed out on a 50% off tank, can I try again?

Sure! We’ve spread our 50% off sale over 3 days to give you every chance to score ! If you missed out on a 50% off tank one day, you’re welcome to come back on another sale day to try again.

 

I want to take my time shopping. Does that mean I have less of a chance of getting a 50% off tank?

Not at all! The only time demanding part of the competition is getting your hands on a golden ticket. The golden ticket guarantees you a 50% off tank as long as you meet the other T&Cs of the sale. Once you have your ticket, you can spend as long as you like shopping.

 

Can I call to reserve an tank?

Due to the popularity of this sale, unfortunately we cannot hold/ reserve any tanks. The best way to get a 50% off tank is to turn up as our doors open for the day. If you turn up and miss out on a 50% off tank, we still have 15% off all aquarium tanks until the 2/1/24.

 

50% Off Sale Terms & Conditions

Who can participate:

In store customers can participate in the 50% off sale. Participants can receive a maximum of one tank or enclosure for 50% off over the sale period. Only one golden ticket is allowed per group.

How to enter:

This is an in-store sale only. To enter, participants must collect a ‘golden ticket’ from the aquarium counter. This ticket guarantees the holder a 50% off tank as long as they meet the other T&Cs of the sale.

Participants must then spend $100 on anything else in store. This is $100 in addition to the cost of your 50% off tank and/or cabinet.

Sale Dates:

The 50% off tank sale will run over 3 days from the 26^th to the 28^th of December. All other boxing week sales will end 2/1/24.

Payment:

50% off tanks must be paid for in full on the day of the sale. Buy now pay later payment options are available as well.

The 50% off discount applies to the marked retail price of the tank (not club prices).

Transportation:

As an in-store sale, customers are responsible for organising transportation (and heavy lifting) for all tanks and enclosures. Due to workplace health and safety regulations, Pet City staff may not be able to assist with heavy lifting once tanks/ enclosures leave the store. If needed, customers can return to pick up their tank or enclosure on another day as long as it has been paid for in full.

Availability

Only stock available in store at the time of purchase is included in the 50% off sale.

If another golden ticket holder has already snapped up an tank, you can choose from any of the remaining included tanks.

Online quantities are to be used as a guide only as they may not accurately reflect current stock levels in store.
